Hi, there.
I’m Kyana Brindle, and I am the owner of Kyana Brindle Mental Health Counseling PLLC.
Welcome to my practice.

My approach to psychotherapy is integrated, drawing from my training in multiple models and modalities including psychoanalytic/psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, multi-systemic, and EMDR. My therapeutic work is rooted in the psychodynamic model, or what you might think of as "traditional talk therapy." Whether you are looking for relief from daily stressors, navigating life transitions, or wanting to deepen understanding of yourself and your relationships, I provide a supportive space to guide you through a collaborative, therapeutic process. Using techniques attuned to your unique and specific needs, I will work with you to address difficult emotional and mental health issues, gain insight and awareness, and create the change you need to live a happier, healthier life.

I am a licensed psychotherapist with 20 years of experience. I have worked with children and adolescents, adults, couples, families and groups, in both private practice and community mental health settings.

While I work with a broad range of individuals, I specialize in practicing psychotherapy that is LGBTQIAP2S+ affirmative. I am committed to offering a space to explore and address issues related to sexual and gender identities.

My journey of being a liberated Black, bisexual, queer, cis woman is an ongoing one. Multiple identities have informed my commitment to my own personal growth, development, and unlearning. I am passionate about offering mental health service and practice that centers this spiralic and intimate journey for others, and supports connection with one's internal resource and wisdom.
